Christmas Cards

Dasher stamped in Early Espresso with Cherry Cobbler glitter on the antlers.  The very vanilla cardstock was run through the bigshot with Early Espresso ink on the Very Vintage Embossing folder - I LOVE this effect. The striped Cherry Cobbler ribbon was last years grosgrains stock and because it was too wide I have cut it in half and sealed the edges with the flame from a cigarette lighter( Thanks to Teniel Williams for this tip) The French Script Background Stamp was my first ever Stampin" Up! purchase - the beginning of a long love affair- fitting that it's French!!

This is the design I have used for all my Christmas Cards this year - just posted the last ones today - must have made about 60 of this design. The base card is Naturals White, and the sentiment is heat embossed with White Powder onto Crumb Cake. the Concentric rings stamp is from a Thenkyou set which is VERY old - but still fabulous, and I have stamped over this with the ink spots stamp from Gorgeous Grunge, using Garden Green ink. In the other versions of this card I used the leaf stamp from the Sale-a-bration Bloomin' Marvellous set from this year. Linen Thread for the bow secured with glue dots, and the small star is a retired SU punch, the star has some gloss white ink smudged over its surface. This card has pearls but I also did some with Red Diamontes - cute-, and some with just silver diamonds which look great.
Thanks for looking, hope you have a wonderful Christmas. Liz

Envelope Dies perfect for an Acetate Tent card and some new DSP

After creating yesterday's cards I was on a roll and created this one using the beautiful Gilded Autumn DSP and the Fancy Phrases stamp set.  I really love the sentiments in this set.  It is such a simple design and easy to create. You can find all the directions on yesterday's post for Just Add Ink (JAI#518)  I watercoloured the white leaf after I had adhered the gold veins just to soften it, and I added a strip of mint DSP to the front of one of the tent stands as the white was a bit stark. That's the cool thing about this design, you can change it up plenty of ways. I'm sure we can all send these type of cards at the moment. I hope you are safe and well, and staying connected, wherever you are. I hope you have a creative week and remember,  "don't just post online,  post something pretty!" cheers, Liz Product List Ornamental Envelopes Bundle [ 155168 ] $83.50 Envelopes  Dies [ 153531 ] $63.00 Shimmery White A4 Car
