Little Letters Thinlits, Love, love, love these

The new Little Letters Thinlits were top of my wish list from the new catalogue, and I'm so happy to have them. The very talented demonstrator Rachael van Rij from NZ demo'd these at convention and I have been very keen to try it.  I have to say she made it look very easy, and so far I have found it a little more difficult technique than most.I found that it just requires a little patience and a delicate touch.Taking things gently made a big difference, and I am really happy with the results. One of the other factors is that they are very small and easy to lose if you try to do too much at once, so I have to be uncluttered using these (double challenge!!!!)

Thanks for looking, Liz

FMS 145 using Tap Tap Tap

THE very talented Narelle Farrugia is the host at this weeks Freshly Made Sketches.  So since I am playing with my new stamp set trying to get some sample prepared for my Catalogue Launch next week I thought I should  add this sketch into the mix. It's great.

Mine uses Lost Lagoon and some of the paper from the Moonlight series DSP. Quick and Easy - just  what we all need.

Thanks for looking, Liz

SUO101 bows! using Tap,Tap, Tap

I was so keen to order this stamp set on my first new Catalogue purchase and it is great.  Have done a few cards now including a CASE from the catalogue which I'll share later.

colours are Soft Sky, Mossy Meadow, Old Olive and Pear Pizazz - with Lucky Limeade in the spotty brad- still have a few little treasures I can't sell or give away from my stash, though I am working hard to use some of them!! The paper is from the new Specialy Paper which is very light and lovely to use.

the little "HI" I stamped using the large letter keys stamp and then I just punched them out with a single regular hole punch and attached with a glue dot- employed this on quite a few designs.

My other card for today is not part of a challenge but I am really happy with it too.

Thanks for looking. Liz

All Abloom, paper patterns to make you smile, and SSS227

Just opening up some of the "NEW" product from the catalogue. The new paper pad "All Abloom  has so many gorgeous patterns I'm loving them all. I have created a few cards but the book is full of inspiration with papers of both a traditional floral , a few funky floral designs as well as some more striking contemporary patterns. There is something for everyone here.

I took this at convention, it only shows half the story.

The sketch at Sweet Sunday Sketch seemed a good way to show off some of the lovely patterns too.

Sentiment is from Four You, a very versatile set.
There's still so many more ideas that this set inspires.

The Deconstructed Sketch 155 and a Colour challenge at Paper Players PP204

Hi, I have been playing with some of the GORGEOUS new colours and papers. I am totally hooked on the All Abloom paper collection. There is such a great mix of contemporary and traditional patterns with stripes, patterns and florals both old and new. I have played with the DCS155 and have 2 quite different looks for you. It's a great sketch to show off different papers. I have to say I am also really impressed with the new Kraft Cardstock which is a great weight and a beautiful texture.

The first uses Mossy Meadow, Pistachio and Yellow highlights (sorry but the colour isn't quite right in this shot)

while the second uses the colour challenge at Paper Pals

I also used the dictionary stamp with Blackberry ink, as well as some Mossy meadow embroidery thread. The little heart is punched form the new glimmer Paper which is also gorgeous.

Inside I had a little play with the Photopolymer stamp Bordering Blooms - these could be going to get quite a bit of ink!

more later, back to creating, Liz
