Envelope Punch Board hexagon box CTC#19 and FMS175

Very quick post today as life has been disrupted her for the last week after Cyclone Marcia swept through our town. We were so fortunate not to have any major damage, but it has been very hot without power for 6 days.
CTC asks us to use new buttons and ribbon from the Sale-a-Bration catalogue, and I used the FMS sketch as the inspiration for the gift tags to go with the gift boxes, although I flipped it upside down.

FMS #175 using You Brighten my Day
EDITED on 13/03

EDITED 01/03 I have had several requests for the instructions on how to make this box. I wish I could say I designed it but I can't take that credit. I found the inspiration on Pinterest (source of many wasted moments but masses of inspiration!) and I would like to thank the lovely Debbie Henderson who put together a tutorial. you can see it here-
I do have lots of great pins of tutorials etc and you can follow me on Pinterest, and I also have a Facebook page -Lillybet's Papers where I post some of my creations etc.
I am thrilled to say that theses boxes were the winning entry on CASEing the Catty last week. It really is a great source of  inspiration, you should check out the design team entries and join in!

  4. Sorry to hear of your lack of power after the cyclone, it would make life very difficult. You make such beautiful cards, and these tags and boxes are no exception. Thanks for joining in at CTC again.

  5. Thankyou all for your lovely comments. Life without power has been a reminder of how fortunate we all are to live in such an amazing country, and we have seen the best and the worst of people as you do in any crises. I did miss crafting- especially as i had so much planned for this week, but first world problems…. thankyou all for the inspiration from CASE-ing the Catty.
