Crazy for you colourful thankyou

Following on from the trifold card I made for the CTC challenge last week this was the card we made at class on the weekend.  ( you can see the original -brown/blue/green version here ).
The card base is 10.5cm x 26cm , scored at 10 and 20.5 cm. Emboss the 10cm flap with a folder of your choice - the brick wall looks great as does the wildflower meadow or the Lovely Lace. The flowers are stamped using the baby wipe technique  and the flower image from Crazy About You, and punched out with the scallop circle punch.  They are adhered along the edge of the 6cm flap to give an uneven edge. I then lightly sponged over the raised embossing. I picked up some of the ink from the baby wipe and lightly finger walked the Dictionary stamp over the narrow flap. The sentiment is from Petite Pairs and punched out with the 1" circle and the backing circle is punched with 1 1/4" punch from a spare flower.

I'm not normally an orange girl but these appeal to me!

Envelope Dies perfect for an Acetate Tent card and some new DSP

After creating yesterday's cards I was on a roll and created this one using the beautiful Gilded Autumn DSP and the Fancy Phrases stamp set.  I really love the sentiments in this set.  It is such a simple design and easy to create. You can find all the directions on yesterday's post for Just Add Ink (JAI#518)  I watercoloured the white leaf after I had adhered the gold veins just to soften it, and I added a strip of mint DSP to the front of one of the tent stands as the white was a bit stark. That's the cool thing about this design, you can change it up plenty of ways. I'm sure we can all send these type of cards at the moment. I hope you are safe and well, and staying connected, wherever you are. I hope you have a creative week and remember,  "don't just post online,  post something pretty!" cheers, Liz Product List Ornamental Envelopes Bundle [ 155168 ] $83.50 Envelopes  Dies [ 153531 ] $63.00 Shimmery White A4 Car
